Grant Background Information

In 2018, Chico Unified School District was awarded a Tobacco Law Enforcement Grant. The joint proposal included a partnership with the City of Chico, the Chico Police Department, and Chico Unified School District.

Our overarching goal is to provide the monitoring, enforcement, education and outreach to help reduce, and eventually eliminate, the use of tobacco by our school-aged youth.
