| The
grounds department is charged with providing routine and emergency
maintenance to district grounds. The grounds crew consists of six full
time groundspersons. One of the full time Senior Maintenance Workers is
responsible for full time sprinkler maintenance. The district contains
approximately 207 acres of grounds area. That figure equates to each
member of the grounds crew being responsible for approximately 34.5
acres or, to put it in perspective, 26 football fields. And, of course,
the sprinkler person is responsible for all the sprinklers in the 207
acres of grounds.
