Tri-Counties Bank Donation
Vangie Houle, Branch Operations, and Carly Deatherage, Treasury Management Implementation Specialist, were present as school Principals were invited to fill backpacks with highlighters, folders, binders and an endless supply of student essentials - all donated by Tri-Counties Bank. Chico Unified School District Principals were able to distribute the backpacks throughout their school sites, providing students with brand new materials that they otherwise couldn’t afford.
Targeted Case Managers and Chico Unified School District staff were overwhelmed by the generosity of the Chico Mall’s Stuff the Backpacks – Back to School Supplies Drive. The following representative delivered these essential tools:

Mom’s Restaurant reaches $100,000 in donations to local schools as part of their community outreach School Adoption Program!
Hoisting shovels, tractors and wheelbarrows a group of 121 Recology volunteers gathered on the McManus Elementary School Campus. The volunteers dedicated their entire Saturday to beautifying the elementary school’s landscape and playground.
