Developer Fee Projects

 
As a participant in the State School Facilities Program, Chico Unified School District has the authority to levy fees as a means of funding its share of school construction costs. This fee is levied on new residential construction, and additions to existing residential development in excess of 500 square feet taking place within the District's boundaries. The current fee, as of August 20, 2006 is $2.63 per square foot of new residential development. (Board of Education Resolution No. 959-06 - 6/21/06)
