Ed Tech K-12 Voucher Program
| | Ed Tech K-12 Voucher Program Just about anything you ever needed or wanted to know about the Ed Tech K-12 Voucher Program can be found at www.techsets.org. When you get to the website, just click on the button in the upper right hand corner that says K-12 Voucher Program. Once you've had an opportunity to browse the web site and you are ready to order, below are some simples steps that you can take before you submit a purchase order for Voucher reimbursement.
A. Make sure the item you want to purchase is eligible for reimbursement. To find out you can: 1. Go to www.edtech12vp.com/product.aspx, or 2. Contact the Settlement Claims Administrator (SAC) by phone at 1-800-419-5286 or via email ClaimsAdmin@EdTechK12VP.com. B. Be prepared to provide the following information via phone, or include it in your email inquiry: 1. Your Name, Title and Telephone Number 2. Your District Name (not school name) and District CDE Number, which is 04-61424 3. The specific name of the product or service, including manufacturer for hardware products and publisher for software products. You also need to identify if software products are for laptop, desktop, or server use. The SAC will research your request and notify you of its eligibility. If the item you wish to purchase is in their data base, it will take seven to ten business days for confirmation. If it is not in their data base it can take 30+ business days. C. When you receive your Eligibility Confirmation you are ready to submit your purchase order. Write your confirmation number on the purchase order and include a copy of the written notification you receive from the Settlement Claims Administrator with your purchase order. D. If you are going to order the product whether or not it is voucher eligible, you may wish submit a purchase order with an account number other than your voucher account number. Just be sure to let us know that you have requested confirmation of eligibility and send us the information as soon as you receive it. If it turns out that your item is voucher eligible, we will use the voucher number. If it is not eligible you will not have had to wait to order it. Once again, your best bet at getting the right information is from a Settlement Claims Administrator as noted in 1 and 2 above. A note of caution from the program: Be wary of vendor claims that their products or services are eligible for redemption. Always contact a Settlement Claims Administrator for verification. Do not accept vendor claims. | |
