| | Chico Unified School District is pleased to offer two sixth grade educational alternatives for your student. A limited number of sixth grade students will have the option of attending sixth grade classes at Bidwell Junior High School or the small learning community at the K-8 Hooker Oak elementary school.
To enroll your child in the Junior High School Sixth Grade Program or the Small Learning Community Option, you MUST complete the 6th Grade Optional Program Application and return it to the Department of Educational Services at the Chico Unified School District Office, the junior high school office, or your elementary school office.
There are limited openings at Bidwell Junior High for this educational option. Priority status will be given to students from overcrowded elementary schools.
