|
| | The Responsibility Room after-school program runs from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. daily.
Students will be assigned to the Responsibility Room for: - tardiness/being late to school or any class period
- misbehavior/defiance/disruption in class
- failure to follow any aspect of the dress code
- chewing gum
- other reasons as determined appropriate by AFC staff
Students may also be assigned to the Responsibility Room as a condition of expulsion or probation, or in order to complete community service hours.
When a student is assigned to the Responsibility Room, a parent/guardian will be contacted by phone. The student is expected to attend the Responsibility Room the day it is assigned, unless there is a reason as verified by the parent/guardian that he or she can't attend that day. If not, the student will attend Responsibility Room on the next school day.
