Grading:

Assignments:
Homework and classwork
5 points per homework assignment
**2 points given if both checked problems are correct
**3 points given if assignment is complete.
Homework Hall:
*If a homework assignment is not completed, you will have to go to homework hall during lunch and get it signed.
*Before lunch: that day
*After lunch: the next day
*Turn it back in, signed, for PARTIAL credit.
Hall Pass:
*Each quarter you will receive a hall pass for tardies and restroom breaks. You will have three uses on it, which gives you three chances to be late or leave the room. Once they’re used up, or if you LOSE it you may not leave.
Assessments:
*Tests and quizzes will be given on a regular basis.
-Quiz usually every Friday
-You will be tested on each chapter three times, and the lowest of the
three scores will be dropped.
Miscellaneous:
*Starters (1 point per day, 10 points per two weeks)
*Toolkit Checks (Notes)
*Participation points
*Citizenship points
*Behavior
Discipline:
*1st offense: Warning
*2nd offense: Student/teacher conference
*3rd offense: 30 minute detention and phone call home
*4th offense: Referral to Vice principal / principal
**All offenses will result in a lowered citizenship grade.
