Topics covered include: writing and solving algebraic equations; area and perimeter with algebraic applications; review of the distributive property and integer operations; numeric, algebraic, and geometric ratios; graphing linear equations using slope and intercept; solving systems of equations and quadratic functions. Upon satisfactory completion of Algebra 1 (grade of C or better) the students will go to Geometry the following year. (Textbook--McDougal Littell Concepts and Skills (Algebra I)) | |
