| | This category consists of homework and class work. Homework is 5 points each day. To earn 3 points your assignment must be complete, not necessarily correct. I will then pick two problems to grade for correctness; these will be worth one point each, a total of 5 points. Missing homework will require you to attend Homework Hall for the following week. Late work will receive partial credit. | |
| | On a daily basis you will be doing a starter, they will be turned in every other week. Each day will be worth 1 point or 10 points every two weeks. Your toolkits will also be checked every few weeks to make sure that you are keeping up with your notes. I also reserve the right to give students participation points based on their daily participation. | |
| | At the end of each unit you will be given a test that is on all of the material that you have learned to that point. You will be given the opportunity to test on each chapter three times and you will keep the best two out of three scores. All tests will be open notes (toolkits). Activities will also be assigned periodically to asses your understanding and application of the most recent topics. | |
