| | My wife, Cindy, and I were married in 1966. Cindy works as an instructional aide in special education at Ponderosa Elementary School in Paradise. She studied liberal arts at East Los Angeles Junior College and Butte College. I earned my B.S. degree in engineering at California State University at Los Angeles. I earned my teaching credentials at California State University at Chico. We have three children. Our oldest, Brian, graduated from California State University at Chico with a physical science major and earned his masters degree in meteorology from California State University at San Jose. He is a full time instructor of meteorology at Butte College. He is married to our daughter-in-law, Shannon. Shannon worked many years for United Health Care in Chico. Their first child, a girl, was born on April 10, 2003. Kaylee Alora Reinbold is our first grandchild. Their second child, a boy, was born on March 23, 2006. Kyle Seth Reinbold is our second grandchild. Our second oldest, Linda, graduated from California State University at Chico with a double major in Philosophy and Religious Studies. She is a flight attendant with Skywest Airlines. She lives in Chico and flies out of her home base in Sacramento. Our youngest, David, graduated from California State University at Chico with a business major. He is currently a stay-at-home dad. He married Roxanne, our second daughter-in-law, January 10, 2004. Roxanne graduated from Chico State with a major in nursing. She is an R.N. at Enloe Hospital in Chico. Their first child, our third grandchild, Nicole Elizabeth Reinbold was born November 17, 2006. | |

| | I had several part time jobs while putting myself through college. My first "real job" was at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, California. I was part of an engineering group called Orbit Determination. It was our job to determine position, velocity and acceleration of unmanned spacecraft for midcourse corrections to get them to the planet or moon at the appropriate time and place. I worked on many Lunar Orbiter, Surveyor, Pioneer, and Mariner missions. I loved the prestige and freedom of working for a company under the direction of the California Institute of Technology. We decided we wanted to raise our children in a small community and moved to Paradise. There were no engineering jobs in the local area available, so I bought a small business. I was a small businessperson for twelve years. I sold the business and went back to school at California State University at Chico to earn my teaching credentials. I have the following teaching credentials: community college (math); secondary ( math, industrial and technology education, and introductory general science); elementary ( multiple subjects). I have taught math full time at Bidwell Junior High since September 1988 and part time at Butte College since January 1988. I love teaching and helping students. | |

| | In Junior High, my hobbies were camping, fishing, building model cars and airplanes, and art (drawing). In High School, my hobbies were fishing, architecture, working on cars (including drag race cars), tennis and running track and cross country. After marriage as our family grew, my hobbies became more family oriented. Family vacations were a big item. Of course home remolding and repair were needed, but since I enjoyed doing projects, they were in the hobby category. I have done much carpentry work on all of our homes. My family and I have done all the landscaping on all of our homes, and we have completely wired two of our three new homes. I have maintained and repaired all of the many cars in our family. As I mature, many of the repair items I've listed above as hobbies have become less hobby and more chore. Even though I am less enthusiastic about my own projects, I still love to help others with their projects. I recently completely re-wired my father-in-law's garage and brought it up to code. I have been installing CD players in cars for family and friends. Cindy and I started snow skiing ten years ago. We enjoy the sport, but are not "diamond hill" skiers. Current things of interest are travel and enjoying life. | |
