| | The sixth grade math curriculum at Bidwell Junior High School follows the Chico Unified School District mathematics standards. Our sixth graders will use the newly adopted textbook that all other sixth graders in the district will be using. Concepts covered will include: number sense, pre-algebra, measurement, geometry, statistics, probability, and problem solving. Top-performing sixth graders may take an “Algebra Readiness” exam in May to determine if they qualify for advanced placement into full-course Algebra 1P as a seventh grader. | |
