Fine Arts Top of Page For the last past thirteen years Chico Unified School District has provided a thematic Fine Arts Program for all elementary students. The lessons which are written by the staff of Fine Arts Specialists include a half-day and incorporate music, art, drama and dance in the lessons. Music Top of Page The Chapman School Music Program includes classroom music, choir, and band. Most classes have classroom music. The Standards and Benchmarks adopted by the Chico Unified School District last year are the basis for lessons. As the Music Educator's National Conference advises, music is taught in a manner to encourage elementary students with the hope that they will enjoy music all their lives. Kim Gimbal is the Music Specialist at Chapman. Chapman Choir was awarded and Excellent rating at the Region III California Music Conference on March 16th, 2001.
