| | As principal of Chico High School, I often tell people that I have the "best job in Chico!" CHS is a great school with an outstanding staff and talented students. I have been an educator for over 20 years and have been at Chico High since August 2001. Appointed as Principal in June 2003 my goals include building a rigorous and relevant curriculum so that all students have the opportunity to choose what they want to pursue after high school…whether it is a university, junior college, technical school, military or work. We strive to provide a warm and welcoming place for students so that they feel safe to learn. I have been a long time Chico resident having moved here in 1984 to finish my undergraduate and graduate education at CSU, Chico. Chico is a wonderful community and Chico High School is an important part of this beautiful city. I look forward to many great years at Chico High School. Go Panthers!

| | This is my 10th year serving students and staff at Chico High School. I have worked at the high school level since 1979, the first 14 years as a History-Social Science teacher at Galt High School and 6 years as an Assistant Principal/Counselor at Linden High School. In my 30 years as an educator, this has been the start of one of the very BEST school years. Staff and students are focused on learning more than ever before.
I am dedicated to ensuring a safe and orderly campus. I work with students whose last names begin with the letters A – G, although when the door is open, we welcome all students and parents who have a concern. We encourage parents to let us know if their student is not having a safe and positive experience while at school, at school activities or coming to or going home from school.
There are many things that make working at Chico High School a rewarding experience. The students here are great: polite, respectful, and caring. The staff works hard, above and beyond the call of duty, to provide a quality education to our students. The parents support us as we work with their children. It is an honor and a privilege to be here and a member of the Panther family. Go Panthers!

| | I feel honored to be an Assistant Principal at Chico High School. I have lived in Chico since 1981 when I started working on my Masters in Public Administration. I took a fast six year separation from Chico to get married, get my teaching credential and start a family before coming back to stay. Since being back, I taught and served as an assistant principal at Gridley High School. In 1994 I became assistant principal at Paradise High School. Through friends on the Chico High staff, I learned about the progressive CHS student-centered programs. I have been a proud member of the Panther family since 2000. Go Panthers!

| | It is a bit odd to think that I have been working in public education for nearly half my life, but I think that is the case. After graduating from CSU Chico I taught in southern California. I came to Chico High in 1989 and have taught math here ever since. This is my fifth year as assistant principal. I am committed to the progressive instructional programs available here at CHS and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with the dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring students and staff that make up the CHS community. When I went back to school to get my administrative credential, I knew that I did not want to be an administrator at just any high school. I knew that I wanted to be an administrator at Chico High. I count myself lucky to have the opportunity to work at CHS and look forward to many more years of service as a Panther.
