Why Agriculture?
The agriculture education is a hands on learning program designed for learning through doing. If your a person who learns better through a hands-on technique rather than pure textbook learning, then agriculture is for you! Our three ag teachers Mr. Payne, Mrs. Mendez and Ms. Zweigle teach their students material that will be useful in real life situations. From making a corsage or building a trailer, the agriculture department at Chico High is quite a benefical program. | |

The Chico FFA is an integral part of agriculture education, we are an orginization that truly stands by it's motto "Learning to do , Doing to learn, Earning to live, Living to serve." The Chico FFA is a hands on learning program designed to produce the future leaders of our nation. The National FFA is spread across the entire nation "from Alaska to Puerto Rica and the state of Maine to Hawaii." | |
