All parents are welcome at the General PTSA Meetings, held in the Library on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM unless noted otherwise in the school newsletter. Award presentations, drama and chorus performances, and student activities highlight the General PTA Meetings.

Objectives of the Parent Teacher Student AssociationTop of Page

  • To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship
  • To raise the standards of home life
  • To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth
  • To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
  • To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

Chico Junior can use parent volunteers for assistance with fund raising activities, baking cookies for events, dance chaperones, Magazine Drive and more. Please call or email the PTSA President, Karen Micalizio  at (530) 680-2199 or inquire at the school office, if you are interested in helping in any of these areas.
