You may donate in the office or go to www.nvcf.org/donate for more information. This is unique community fund raising opportunity for Hooker Oak teachers and means more money for our students and classroom as all donated funds are matched in the fundraiser. Special Dates - August 26: Back to School Night - grades 5-8, 6:30-7:30 pm starting in the MPR
- September 6: NO SCHOOL: Labor Day
- September 7 All Parent Meeting 6:00 on Blacktop: Bring a potluck item, your own plates and serviceware and drinks.
- September 11: Dog Parade and Chili Cookoff at the Elks Lodge.

|  Students practice psycho-motor activities to strengthen their bodies and minds. |  Classroom Instructions makes use of activities that provide hands-on experiences as often as possible. |  The school garden is used to help students with science and nutrition. |
