| | Sixth grade science classes focus on earth sciences, including earth’s structure, heat and energy.
Seventh grade science classes focus on life sciences, including cell biology, genetics, evolution, structure and function in living systems, and physical principles in living systems.
Eighth grade science classes focus on physical sciences, including motion, forces, structure of matter, the solar system, chemistry of living systems, the periodic table, density and buoyancy.
All science classes include hands-on investigation and experimentation. All classes meet the California Science Content Standards for California Public Schools for Grades 6-8.
