Berkeley Web Geologic Time Machine Click on the different geologic eras and periods to learn more about each one. This is a great site to learn about the plant and animal life, climate, and environment. It's at the top of this list for a reason!!

Who created the website you are looking at? Finding out who the author is can be an important part of deciding if the information is reliable (can be trusted).
Should I trust Wikipedia? Maybe, maybe not. Remember that anyone can put something on Wikipedia, and anyone can change what is there. If you can find the information from a trusted place that supports what is on Wikipedia, it's okay to use it. But then you might as well use the information from the trusted place!!!
 
The Sun
 
Student Resource Center Jr.-- Try a database!! This database is especially for Marsh students. From the Marsh library web page click on the blue Student Resource Center Jr. button, then click Proceed on the Infotrac page. Click again on the blue button. On the search screen, type in SUN. You will see a list of links under a Reference tab. These are articles from Reference books. A good one to try is "SUN" by UXL Encyclopedia of Science. To use this link at home you will need a password. See library staff for the password!
