The student will produce an informational poster from a pre-determined list as determined by the test administrator. All components of this publication must be theme related. Students should include:
· At least two graphics (one from the Internet and one from clip art) including at least one color graphic
· A border around the edge
· Text - must include: date/time; cost (if applicable); location; pertinent information (text which describes/enhances the theme); appropriate fonts – at least two colors; appropriate graphics; appropriate borders; acceptable formatting (white space, font size/type, margins, balance, weight, alignment, graphic placement/size, text placement, graphic clarity/depth, color contrast).
The following areas will be evaluated: text, graphics, pertinent information, border, formatting, and balanced appearance.
