Welcome to the Adult transition program
The Adult Transition Center is a comprehensive program dedicated to preparing students with disabilities 18-22 years of age for entry into adult programs or supported work placements upon completion. Through on and off-campus work experiences, field trips, recreation, mobility training, and independent life skills training, the program focuses on student independence, communication and self-management. The Adult Transition Center works closely with a variety of community partners, including Butte Community College, California State University, Chico, public transportation and many private businesses. The goal of the Adult Transition Center is to support students in their successful transition from school-based programs into their community.
The Adult Transition Center (ATC) is located in the new Lassen Building next to Oak Bridge Academy. Oak Bridge Academy and the ATC in the Lassen Building share the same parking lot.
