Welcome to Chico Unified's Expanded Learning!

Our programs offer engaging and supportive learning opportunities for students before school, after school and during intersession camps — all designed to help your child grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
What is Expanded Learning?

What is Expanded Learning?

Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) extend learning beyond the traditional school hours and school year. They provide safe, structured, and engaging environments where students can explore their interests, receive academic support, and develop essential life skills.

Expanded Learning is funded by State After School Education & Safety Grants (ASES) and the 21st Century Community Learning Center. For the 2025-26 school year, Chico Unified School District is able to provide these enrichment opportunities to students at NO COST to parents/guardians.
