Community Flyers and Events

Chico Unified is excited to collaborate with our community to bring families important news, resources and community events.

To help deliver information directly to parents and guardians, the Chico Unified Team uses PeachJar—an electronic flyer posting and distribution system. Peachjar replaces paper flyers with convenient digital access, making it easier than ever for community organizations to connect with our schools and keep families informed about great events and activities.

Through Peachjar, each school can send flyers to its families, and outside nonprofit organizations can send district-approved flyers to all SCUSD families who are subscribed to receive emails. These flyers are also posted on each school’s website for the duration that the organization is signed up. Look for the Peachjar button on your school’s website homepage.

Board Policy 1325 - Advertising and Promotion - outlines the Chico Unified district-wide policies. Administrative Regulation 1325 states that "PeachJar remains the distribution platform for all community-based organization opportunities and events. Aeries Communication remains reserved for School and District sponsored opportunities and events."

Flyers sent through PeachJar are not a Chico Unified School District sponsored program. Any opinions expressed are not necessarily those of the District or school personnel. The District accepts no liability or responsibility for the program or activity.”

Parents/Guardians

You do not need to have a Peachjar account or log in to view flyers. However, you do need to have an account and log in to manage your flyer delivery preferences, including frequency (daily, weekly, etc.). Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose. Only school and district-approved flyers will be sent and posted.

School and district-approved flyers will keep you informed about upcoming events and enrichment opportunities offered by local nonprofit organizations.

additional information for peachjar digital flyers

Flyers must comply with all laws and District standards and may not include discriminatory, illegal, or unsafe content.
Non‑school activities held on district campuses require an approved Use of Facilities permit.
Flyer text and graphics must comply with all applicable laws, District standards, policies and school rules.

Flyers may not include content that:

- Promotes violence, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, weapons, gangs, or illegal activities
- Is discriminatory, denigrating, or sexually suggestive
- Encourages violation of school rules
