Butte County is designated as a Tier 2 & Tier 3 County - at elevated and extreme risk for wildfires. That designation means that we all need to be prepared for the potential of both fire and power outages. 

 

We have been informed that, at times, PG&E will implement Public Safety Power Shutoffs, in order to help reduce the risk of wildfires. Anticipating these occurrences, we want to provide you with the following information to help you and your family prepare.
