What is Measure K?

What is Measure K?

As  part  of  Chico Unified School District's commitment  to  maintaining  the  quality  of  education  in  neighborhood  schools,  we conducted  a  full  assessment  of  all  our  local  school  facilities  needs –  including  K‐12  classroom  buildings, equipment, educational  technology  and  related  facilities  at  every  site  in  the  school  district. A blueprint was developed to make smart investment and to prioritize the school sites with the most critical educational infrastructures. This Facilities Master Plan identified over $400 million in need. Thanks to our local community and voters, we were able to fund several critical improvement projects.

Our promise was to get the projects in the ground as soon as possible, and we're proud of our Facilities and Construction team for their tireless hours to improve our student campuses.
