Proposition 39 Bond Election
On November 6, 2012, voters residing within the Chico Unified School District passed Measure E. Measure E is a $78 million bond measure that authorizes funding for needed repairs, upgrades, and new construction projects to the District's schools. Proposition 39 required a 55% supermajority for approval; Measure E was passed by 63.32%.

Measure E Citizens' Oversight Committee
The Chico Unified School District Board of Education has established a Measure E Citizens' Oversight Committee to work with the District.

Project Identification

Measure E Bond dollars aided the following projects:
On December 10, 2012, bond objectives and common directives were shared with school sites to assist in identifying a project list.  Each school has begun working with staff, students, parents and community members to develop a potential project list.  Facilities and Maintenance & Operations staff have been available to help with these initial meetings.
